3. Edge and Surface Treatment: Depending on the leather type, treat the edges and surface accordingly. Vegetable-tanned leather may require surface treatment, while smooth leather or nubuck leather might only need light surface work. Waxed leather may only need a simple wipe.
4. Sewing and Assembly: Prepare needle and thread, and sew the pieces together following the pattern guidelines.
